Nichole attended her first party...

Our neighbor's son turned 1 yr old yesterday, so my two daughters was invited on the b-day party. Ate Alyssa had a great time and even joined some of the games. Baby Nichole, on the other hand, had no clue on what's going on. Well, what do you expect from a 6- month-old baby. Anyway, I think baby Nichole had a grand time as well.

...Perspective...

I’m an avid reader of inspirational anecdotes and stories. stories that make you cry, laugh and think for a while. Stories that teach you lessons in life, lift you up when you are down or even inspire you to make changes in your life. I have found this story in one of the site I visited and I hope this will change our perspective of wealth, happy reading

Lessons Learned

One day, the father of a very wealthy family took his son on a trip to the country with the express purpose of showing him how poor people live.

They spent a couple of days and nights on the farm of what would be considered a very poor family.

On their return from their trip, the father asked his son, “How was the trip?”

“It was great, Dad.”

“Did you see how poor people live?” the father asked.

“Oh yeah,” said the son.

“So, tell me, what did you learn from the trip?” asked the father.

The son answered: “I saw that we have one dog and they had four. We have a pool that reaches to the middle of our garden and they have a creek that has no end. We have imported lanterns in our garden and they have the stars at night. Our patio reaches to the front yard and they have the whole horizon.

“We have a small piece of land to live on and they have fields that go beyond our sight.

“We have servants who serve us, but they serve others. We buy our food, but they grow theirs.

“We have walls around our property to protect us, they have friends to protect them.”

The boy’s father was speechless.

Then his son added, “Thanks Dad for showing me how poor we are.”

For a couple of months now I have been addicted to digital scrappin’, these are a few of my projects. I made some for Alyssa using her baby pics since I haven’t made a scrapbook for her. Well I have lots of materials to use to make her scrapbook I’m just a procrastinator that’s why I haven’t finished it yet, hope I will have plenty of time to spare for this projects. I also made some for my baby Nichole but I’m not able to get good pictures of her coz my digicam has a mind of its own and won’t let me get good shots.
